Following our recent Parent Forum Meeting, we are asking for your views on how we ran Sports Day last year, with an aim to consider making it even better.

Our School Council met with their classmates and interestingly, there was a mixed picture between children who wanted to keep it the same and those who were interested in seeing changes.

Our suggestion would be to maintain some individual races as we did last year, but then to have a range of team games (such as shooting into a basketball hoop) which the four house groups move around. We feel this would ensure there is still a level of individual competition, whilst increasing the time children are active throughout the afternoon and varying the activities to increase the enjoyment of children who may find racing challenging.
