RE: Joint Concert aimed at Primary School children with John Port Spencer Academy and South Derbyshire Music Centre

Students from John Port Spencer Academy and South Derbyshire Music Centre are preparing an evening of music to entertain you. The concert will feature the Wind Bands and Choirs from John Port Spencer Academy and South Derbyshire Music Centre.

This joint concert will take place on Friday 31^st March at 7pm in John Port’s Chatsworth Hall. Sound and lighting will be provided by the student Tech Team. A fully licenced bar and a raffle will be available on the evening thanks to the support of Mrs Silvester, Mrs O’Brien and members of the school PTA. Tickets are free for all and can be ordered from Wednesday 15^th March via the JPSA Box Office at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/jpsaboxoffice.  This concert may be of particular interest to:

•  Students who are currently learning to play an instrument at Primary school and would like an opportunity to see how they could continue this interest at John Port.

•  Students and parents who would like to find out more about the part music plays in the academy including learning an instrument and taking part in extra-curricular music activities.

•  Students who are interested in finding out more about musical opportunities at South Derbyshire Music Centre.

•  Students and parents of students who will be joining John Port Spencer Academy in September.

 The performance will begin at 7.00pm with doors opening at 6.30pm.  Although the concert is free, you will need to bring your eticket or booking reference. We are unable to guarantee that tickets will be available on the door if you have not already booked.
