We are looking forward to welcoming all children back into school on Monday 5th September.

Start and end of day timings and places are remaining the same: Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 arrive by 08:55 at the playground gate and Year 3,4,5 and 6 arrive by 09:00 at the main school gate. Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 to be collected at 15:15 from the playground gate and Year 3,4,5 and 6 to be collected at 15:20 at the main school gate.

New Reception Children – please look at the School Calendar to check the timings for your child’s first few days.

Please refer to the school uniform guidance on the website and please note that we do ask that due to limited cloakroom space, children should only bring a book bag for homework and reading books. Please remember to send your child with a water bottle. Please also note that PE kit should be unbranded with no large pictures or logos.

We are pleased to announce that Rob Salmon from Church Broughton Tennis Club will be coaching this year. For children in Reception, Years, 1, 2, 3 and 4, please dress in PE kits on a Monday for tennis coaching and on Thursdays for their second PE lesson. Rob will also run a tennis club on Monday lunch times for Class 3 – if your child would like to take part, they should bring a pair of trainers on Monday. Years 5 and 6 should wear PE kits just on Tuesdays for the first term: the first swimming session for Years 5 and 6 is on Tuesday 20th September. Please note Tennis Coaching will commence on Monday 5th September.

Good attendance is a significant factor in children’s attainment in school. Please refer to our guidance and expectations on the attendance page.
